Q: I want to file a lawsuit against CPS. They have intruded and traumatized my son and my life.
They have found 3 false claims from people that had personal vendettas against me. And also no proof of any neglect nor did they find any proof from any of the claims. And just recently I got contacted yet again from their agency
A: There are attorneys who concentrate their practice on suing CPS. Find one of those attorneys. You can ask attorneys if they know such attorneys.
A: It sounds like CPS investigated those claims and did not find any neglect. Your issue should be with the people who have "personal vendettas" against you... not CPS.
A: CPS is required to investigate allegations of child abuse.

A: In California, individuals have the right to bring lawsuits against government agencies, including Child Protective Services (CPS). If you believe CPS has acted wrongfully towards you or your child, you may consider filing a claim for violations of your civil rights or for emotional distress. However, suing a government entity can be complex due to certain immunities and procedural requirements. Before taking any action, it's crucial to gather all pertinent documentation, records, and evidence related to your interactions with CPS. Given the intricacies of such a lawsuit, it would be prudent to consult with an attorney who has experience handling cases against government agencies. Remember, there are specific time frames, known as statutes of limitations, within which you must initiate your lawsuit. Missing these deadlines can bar your claim, so timely action is essential.
