A: If you are unable to locate your husband and are concerned about his well-being, there are a few steps you can take:

1. File a missing person report: Contact your local police department in California and file a missing person report. Provide them with as much information as possible, including the last known location of your husband and any states he may have recently visited.

2. Reach out to family and friends: Contact any family members or friends who might have information about your husband's whereabouts. They may be able to provide valuable insights or help you get in touch with him.

3. Contact law enforcement in the states he has visited: If you know which states your husband has been traveling to, contact the local police departments in those areas and inform them about the situation. They may be able to assist in locating him.

4. Utilize social media: Post a message on your social media accounts, asking if anyone has seen or heard from your husband. Be sure to include a recent photo and any relevant information that could help locate him.

5. Consider hiring a private investigator: If you have exhausted all other options and still cannot locate your husband, you may want to consider hiring a private investigator who specializes in missing persons cases.

Remember, if you believe your husband is in immediate danger or if there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding his disappearance, inform the police immediately and provide them with all the relevant details.

A: You don't mention why you are trying to find him.

A: If this is for purposes of locating him so you can serve him with a Petition for Dissolution, find out his last known legal address, documents all efforts you have made to find him, and then file a motion with the court to get permission to have him served by publication. Otherwise, hire a PI.
