I don’t understand why you think you could be sued under the circumstances. You had a legitimate emergency but were not effective in communicating that to the dispatcher.

Q: Can a driver park their vehicle on the side of the road in front of your home legally without your consent?

I would recommend either reaching out to an attorney in the area where your grandson is in jail or to the public defenders office. He is entitled to an attorney at his probation violation hearing.

A lot of attorneys around the state are notaries. That being said most prisons have at least one notary on staff.

Q: Q: I got a judgement in 2014 from discover credit card. If I sell my home will they take my money?

Since then my health has lead me to file for disability. I can't work and can't pay my bills. I have to sell. I have to pay back money I've borrowed from family to pay my bills. I hope I have enough to live on until I get my disability.

If they have filed the judgment they will get the amount owed to them at the time of the sale if there is any equity in the home before you get any money out of the home. The Judgment acts like a lien against the property.
