A California attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for four weeks. No one here has any way of knowing. The applicable agencies need to be checked with - there were different programs throughout the nation and each had their own timetables. Good luck

Q: Does 49 CFR Subpart B - Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards require shoulder belts in middle rear seat?

We are looking for rules applying to WAV taxis in California manufactured after 2012. Will lap belt meet requirements for the middle passenger back seat position, or do they need shoulder as well.

You'll need to do some legal research or have an attorney do it for you. [I litigate cases. Anything posted here must not be construed as legal advice, nor as grounds for forming an attorney-client relationship. You should seek an attorney for formal legal advice and representation.]

Don't do it. Painters must be licensed unless the job can be done for less than $600. Hiring one that has no license and no insurance opens you up to personal liability if he injures himself, like by falling off the ladder. You don't want to be a defendant in a lawsuit, and there is... View More

Unless occupancy of the storage room is a part of your lease, you need to remove your property before it is disposed of by the owners. If you have a right to the storage area by your lease, then you should contact a local attorney to discuss your personal situation.
