Where you arrested and taken to jail or police station? Underage drinking and driving is a misdemeanor, which means up to 90 days jail and $1000 fine. If you’re interested in a plea bargain, often you can negotiate a result with little or no jail, and a lower fine.
Probabtion in Wi and doing good just wanting to get DL in wi?

Maybe. Normally the way to clear a Arrest and Detain Order or Arrest Warrant due to an alleged probation violation is to turn yourself in (or be caught and arrested) to get booked into the appropriate jail, then eventually have a judge review and decide on release. If it's that old, it could... View More

It sounds rather ... complicated. So, the 2007 MN DWI is over and done - probation ended? Or, the WI DWI still in probation triggered a MN probation violation? On the 2007 case? A different case? The way to start untangling that knot is probably going to be to pick up the telephone and make a... View More

I certainly don't have all the facts of your situation, but generally every department has policies on how to handle certain situations. If your injuries required medical attention from a professional, you certainly should have been taken to the hospital at some point, especially if you... View More

Court hearing is scheduled in Iowa but the person is a Minnesota resident. Is there a way to get the hearing/ case transferred so the resident doesn't have to leave their home state?
answered on Apr 20, 2017
If the person is accused of violating Iowa law, then that person must answer to the State of Iowa.

Depends what you mean by "forced" urine sample. If they got a cup and you filled it without them doing the tarantella on your bladder, then it's not forced. But if it's serious enough for a warrant it's serious enough for you to get a hold of a minnesota criminal lawyer. If... View More

It does not hurt to make the request, but do not be surprised if the prosecutor does not agree with the request. It is highly advisable to get an attorney to help you through this.

You should seek review of the impoundment order. The procedures are somewhat complicated so it is advisable that you seek legal counsel.
because of guilty plea, medical bills are now my responsibility. Yet in MN, I believe that a person can not be found guilty of careless driving while on private property? The injured party had no seatbelt on and interfered with the driver which directly caused the accident!

You are apparently asking this after the entrance of a plea. When you enter a plea you give up certain rights. You ask if this is proper. You had an attorney, right? It might be too late, but it probably will not hurt to ask your attorney about this or go see a private local one.
