No, as long as the sex was consensual. even though the age of consent is 17 in Texas, as long as the parties are no greater than 3 years apart their is an affirmative defense to any charges brought against you. If she was 13 then that's a whole different story.

Yes the age of consent in Texas is 17. At 17 you can be in a relationship with a 40 year old man. Creepy yes, illegal no.
One note: you can't legally be in a relationship with a 13 year old boy.

I'll be 18 for a couple weeks until she's 17. We have had sex. Her parents abuse her physically and mentally. They are trying to press chargers for rape or something. Maybe harrassment but I don't know what yet. Just pressing charges once I am 18
