Q: I have custody in NC and my ex gets visitation every other weekend. Can I move to a new location in NC for work?

Their mother lives 2.5 hrs away. I know getting my ex to agree to allowing the move would be easier but can she stop me from moving??? I'm not going to deny her from the set visitation schedule, will just be in a different part of the state, same distance.

If an existing custody order is in place, it is imperative that you continue to comply with that order. Q: Is there a statute in NC that guarantees family members unobstructed access to their family cemeteries?

Even if no family member owns the property on which the cemetery is located.

Q: I live in NC I do not work I’m a homemaker my husband and I file married joint tax returns. If we get a refund 50/50

Do we split it 50/50 or Im I not intitled to any of it.

If you and your husband are married and file your tax returns jointly, any refund received will be in both spouses names, and it should be divided equally.
