A: If you know which courthouse the lawsuit was filed in, you can look online into the Register of Actions for the courthouse to find the case using the name of the defendant as your starting point. Also, certain paid database searches can allow you to find the case by searching on the name of the defendant. You can use this approach if you do not know the courthouse. Good luck to you.

A: To find information about a lawsuit against your previous company in California, you can start by checking the online database of the California Courts. Visit the website of the court where the case was likely filed, such as the Superior Court in the county where the company is located. Many courts offer online case search tools where you can search by the name of the company.

If you do not find the information online, you can contact the court clerk's office directly. Provide them with the name of the company and any other relevant details you remember. They can help you locate the case number and provide information on the current status of the lawsuit.

Additionally, consider reaching out to former colleagues or the company's human resources department. They might have updates or additional information regarding the lawsuit. Keeping these steps in mind can help you stay informed about the legal proceedings involving your former employer.
