Q: Am I allowed to request to see the documents my previous employer submits to their lawyer to try and deny my claim?
I plan to sue my previous employer. However, their lawyer is currently reviewing the documents I sent detailing my harassment. He said he’s waiting to get documents from his client before they can decide on how to handle my demand letter. The company is very shady when it comes to actually submitting documents or even acknowledging my complaint in a timely manner as this has been going on since May and I only heard from their lawyer about three weeks ago.
