It sounds frustrating that the tow company isn’t responding to you after they lost your truck. When a tow company loses a vehicle or releases it to the wrong person, they may be liable for negligence or even theft. You have the right to demand answers and seek compensation for your lost property.... View More

Yes, your parents are allowed to take your money from your job and the things that you buy with that money when you are 17 years old.

Your lawyer wouldn't "press charges." The prosecutor would file criminal charges. If your attorney failed to file a lawsuit and it is now time barred contact an personal injury attorney.

An attorney will need to evaluate the entire situation to determine whether it was an illegal search. You apparently think because you parked and were walking away from the car it was off limits. I am not sure a judge is going buy it.

My son received a ticket Crim/Traf Non-Mand (fishing without a license) while in fish house with two other friends. He did not have a pole in his hand but 3 lines were in the water. DNR gave him a ticket for 97C.301.2. The DNR say if he pays the fine it will not be on his record. Is that accurate?

Typically paying a citation will create a record. However, if this is a petty misdemeanor, that is considered non-criminal. If he wants to keep it off of his record, he should consult with an attorney. There are ways to keep these things from becoming a conviction.
