Q: What type of firm represents a hospital in-patient that was abused by hospital security?

Patient has diagnois of cognative mental disorder and was admitted due to a fall resulting in an additional head injury.

A Tennessee attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. It would be a firm that handles personal injury, and possibly med mal if the incident was related to the patient's care. It's difficult to say with exactness, based on this brief description. Good luck

No. The conservator usually has to file a final accounting with the Court with a Suggestion of Death. You might file a Suggestion with the Death Certificate copy yourself.

your lawyer should be able to answer that. The law of the state where the estate is governs. Also note generally the claims of injury cases are not subject to state or federal taxes, and hopefully your lawyer worked the wongful death/survival claims in a way that gives the best bounce.
