You did not state whether it was a Felony or Misdemeanor. Either way, hire a lawyer now. You hope to get it Diverted, Dismissed and Expunged. Being a Citation it was probably a Simple Possession charge, which will still look terrible as a conviction for the rest of your life.
Speed limit sign was posted at an intersection where I was changing lanes at the same time I did not see the sign nor was it clearly visible

You should go to Court. Dress appropriately, act respectfully, and possibly the DA or Judge will reduce the speed which are points against your MVR. The worst that can happen is you have to pay the same as you would if you mailed it in.

That means the officer guessed at your speed without a detection device. Courts usually give the LEO's alot of credibility.
I am planning to go to court and ask the judge if I can do traffic school or anything to keep the ticket off my record. Should I plea guilty, not guilty, or no contest? If I do plead guilty, am I still able to get this off my record?

Go to Court dressed decently and act respectful. Ask the Judge or DA if there is a way you can keep those points going on your MVR. If you plead guilty and send it in, you get points. You will probably be alright.
There is no amount for the fine, it is traffic control device, and there is no other info.

If you have not already checked with the appropriate Clerk about this Citation, you may wish to hire a competent attorney to look into it.
I was told by the officer that pulled me over that I would just have to pay a ticket, then when I called to find out the amount, they informed me I have to go to court. Is there any possible way I can avoid going to court?

You need to go to Court on virtually any Citation. Be respectful. The worst that can happen is that you are found guilty and have to pay the Court. But you might get lucky.
They are saying that it's still suspended for the same thing I paid off. If this was the case then I wouldn't I have gotten more than a "no-seatbelt" ticket from the state trooper? Wouldn't he have given me a "driving on suspended license" ticket if I didn't have my license reinstated?

You will have to work this out with the Department of Safety. Some Court may be involved, but it sounds like DOS was either never satisfied because you did not take care of everything, or DOS has a mistake.
I got pulled over for a brake light out, just got a warning for that.

Take the time to go to Court. Have your TNDL and Insurance with you. Replace the bulb so if it is asked about, you fixed it. Be very respectful in Court. It should go well, but have some cash on you.

Evidently you pled guilty and paid the Citation. The DOS puts points against your MVR for the last year, and you are only allowed 11. If you get a Notice of Suspension from DOS, hire a competent attorney to get an admin hearing. You cannot remove MVR points.
My GA speeding ticket (84 in a 70) was dismissed through community service and traffic school. I now got another ticket in NC for going 72 in a 55. Will my first ticket be reinstated since it’s only been seven months?

Hopefully not, but where is your License issued? You should hire a competent NC attorney to get the Ticket there dismissed or reduced. Then it has no effect on any DL. It is doubtful NC will talk to GA until the Citation has a disposition, and hopefully will never talk to GA.

The LEO must have gotten your information from his computer check of your tag. The Citation may or may not have errors, but its validity is not an issue, irregardless how the LEO drafted it prior to issuance.

No, and the other way of being charged with a crime is an Indictment. Citation is the proper name for Summons to Court where you are not taken into custody, but go to Court!
It was for going 60 in a 30 on a backroad cops are never on and you can see straight ahead far enough in advance to slow/stop if the need arises. What is your question? If you were driving, then you committed the Rule of the Road Violation. I recommend the owner getting the Registration fixed quick, then going to Court with the correct Registration and Tags to show the Prosecutor or Judge.
Received ticket and told that I could either pay it or go to court. The ticket processed stating I must appear. I was not written for reckless driving, and this is my first ticket so I’m confused on what possible out comes I might face if I go to court

You probably need an attorney now. And you will probably need to go to Court. Many points will be added to your MVR, but hopefully you can plead to a much lower speed violation.
