More information is needed to answer. Were you injured? Is there a police report? Was anyone cited? Were there witnesses? While the deadline in Arizona for making claims for injuries from auto accidents is normally 2 years, but in some situations may be a lot shorter.

Q: what legal responibility do I have if a relative causes an accident in a vehicle in my name involving a fatality?

If I allow my sister to drive my "spare vehicle" that is in my name and she has an accident involving a fatality, will I be legally/financially responsible for that in a court of law?

Am I to assume that your sister is covered under the insurance policy? You might want to make sure that whoever drives a vehicle of yours has full coverage insurance.
