Sounds like you were sued, they got a judgment. If you had insurance at the time you need to find out what happened.

Also, depending on how many years it was it may be you can get the suspension lifted.

Start by talking to the insurance company you had at the date of the wreck....

Not as far as I can see. Why try to nail the guy behind you? Go after the guy that rearended him--or better yet if you have collision use that and let them go after both.

Let's face if, if the hit is bad enough, if the other guy was 8 feet away from you you's still have been...

You will give her an estimate and if she doesn't pay say she leaves you no option but to file a police report &/or take her to small claims;

Well, you signed so that her grandaughter could drive the car, so it's binding on you. Yes, you can give her a notice to quit for nonpayment, and she can ask you to pay for the car now.Either way you will be paying her.

If you were hit you should have a lawyer already. If you don't talk to a member of the Az Trial Lawyers Assn--they give free consultations.

Sounds to me like they are looking to hold you at fault.

Time for you to talk to an attorney.

See my other answer. He may have been using a manner of speech. If you are reasonably bright, the attorney's job is to tell you what they think and you make the ultimate decision--it isn't the attorney's job nor should it be to make ALL decisions in a case. The other question is how... View More

If they don't know you are represented, yes. However it's a free country--you should not give them facts just say you have turned it over to your insurance. If they make any threats, write down what they said, the date and time. Don't get into arguments, just say "I disagree,... View More

Only if he plead not guilty and there was a court hearing. Even then you'd have to go to each lower court office where tickets are heard. Make it part of the deal that he has to tell you. Whenever a young adult drives a vehicle owned by someone it's a good idea to state what the preconditions are.

Insurance companies take unreasonable positions every day. If you are not happy with the offer and position taken, you have the option of filing a lawsuit against the at-fault driver. Ultimately, a case can go to tria and a jury will decide the issue of fault. You should contact a local attorney... View More

You do not have a lot of options, regrettably. You need to hire a lawyer unless the amount of the damages sought makes that impractical. You can try to defend the case yourself but that is going to be an uphill battle to be sure. Good luck Gary!
