My license was revoked about a year-and-a-half ago for plants. About a month ago I got pulled over for speeding but the officer only wrote me for speeding and let me go saying he knew about my revoked license but wasn't going to write me a ticket for it period 2 weeks later I got a letter in... Yes, you can still be subject to a bench warrant; the tickets prove by definition that you are driving without a license. I won't speculate why the police are being so generous, but I recommend that you stop driving. As for the likelihood of a warrant, I cannot say - it depends on whether the... View More
Got a letter from a lawyers office on behalf of Will county says I owe over $800 and this took place in 2004.

Are you referring to Will County, IL? If so, try reposting this question in the Illinois section of Justia because Colorado's driver's laws (and statute of limitations) have not application for matters occurring outside of the state. From a google search, it appears the IL does not have a... View More

If your revocation has already been decided by the traffic court/DMV then there is nothing that you can do to get back your license any faster. If your case has not been decided then you may be able to have the discretionary portion of your suspension reduced via safe driving classes or seeking... View More
I wasn't pulled over i went inside a 7/11 for about 5 min and he came inside looking for the person that drove the car because the dmv registered it as red and it a black car

The officer likely either used a witness, the security cameras or logic (we you the only person in the 7/11?) to tie you to the car. Driving without a license does not require that you be physically in the car. It does require evidence that the car was used by a person with a revoked license. The... View More

I am not sure what you mean by court day. Did you have both a CO and FL license? Did you have your CO license revoked and then left Colorado and got a FL license?
I am disabled, and was very sick right around the time I incurred the ticket, including an actual coma after an auto accident, and had no recall of receiving the ticket untill I was informed a day before I moved to Colorado..how can I take care of this, so I can get a DL..it is urgently needed.

This is a relatively simply matter. First you need to pay-off the NC ticket (and complete any classes if required). If NC put a hold on your record, you will need to resolve the matter fully before applying for a CO license. If you do not have a hold, you can apply for a CO license (note: this will... View More
I was wondering if its legal to drive alone at the age of 18 with a permit not a license off the highway. Do you still need someone 21+ with a license? When I googled it I read
"Colorado Learner's Permit Driving Restrictions. If you're under 18 years old, your driver's... View More

If you have a learner's permit, you are required to have a 21 year old and licensed passenger. The change that you are referring to relates to the passenger/supervisor. Until you are 18, ONLY the party that signed the liability document when you got your license can ride with you (unless an... View More

A defect of this nature would likely not be grounds for a successful challenge. Also, the fact you paid the ticket is de facto acceptance...

This book may be helpful (http://www.nolo.com/products/beat-your-ticket-beyt.html).
You may want to consider registering for traffic classes, if you qualify you can purge some/all of your tickets.
I cannot comment on going to court because I don't have any details....
I saw a red light coming up and began to slow down, I am pretty sure I was driving 50 mph. There was a car in front of me and I was driving at the same pace as him. Before the stoplight there's a bridge (high-way above) and the cop happened to be sitting on his motorcycle between the pillars.... View More

You can challenge this arguing that the speed was reasonable for the circumstances. Your chances improve if the event occurred in clear weather and the lower your speed was over the limit. The chance of success is hard to say, it is up to a judge. If you want it eliminated you can plea and go to... View More
I got pulled over the day I was taking my car to get registered. When I originally bought the car I thought I would have enough to register it. I was wrong. So I did not drive the car for a few months waiting to have the money. Except for once going to the hospital to see my cousin. My fee for the... View More
