This is probably coming from a subrogation adjuster. Her license cannot be suspended until there is a judgment against her. However, they do have the right to pursue her for payment and may file suit if she does not make payment arrangements.

Q: When is a driver within his rights to prevent a traffic violation that will put him at risk of serious injury?

I blocked another driver from passing me on a double yellow line approaching a curve on a very winding road. Once the other driver backed off, two cars almost immediately passed us going in the opposite direction.

Your best option is to contact a personal injury lawyer in your area who can investigate whether what the insurance company said to your is true. Plus he or she can look into any other type of insurance coverage that may be available. I am sorry for your loss.

If you do not have over two employees regularly in employment in Virginia then you are not required to carry workers compensation insurance. However, the injured employee can sue you if the employee feels you negligently caused his/ her injury.

Yes, the officer can, based on the information he or she collects after the accident, but one can try to defend oneself and make the office prove what happened at the hearing for the ticket.
