I would expect that the expulsion only applies to your son's current school. However the new school will require his school records which will likely contain the reason for the expulsion.

This will depend on the criminal record of the offender. If no record, the offender is likely facing a suspended jail sentence. With the help of an experienced criminal defense lawyer, it is possible in limited circumstances to ultimately have the charge dismissed.
