You need to locate the file. Perhaps your local bar association can help.

I'm not sure what a "letter of compensation" is. If she signed a general release, then perhaps not.

Your question is hard to understand. How could the insurance company send you a check to fix your car when it's a total loss?
Driver license too police said he couldn't do enything so ho is going to pay my car
answered on Jul 19, 2015
Even if the driver is uninsured he still is responsible for your damage. You can sue him in small claims court, most likely. If you have the right insurance on your car, you will be able to make a claim with your insurance company. You should contact them.

Yes. If you have homeowner's insurance you should be covered.
I currently have a worker's comp case. Spine and back surgery to come

It appears you were injured on the job. If yours is only a workers compensation claim (no third-party claim) the answer would be no derivative action of spouse.

There is no general time period. Too many factors involved to give you a meaningful answer.

Unless your son suffered serious, permanent damage from taking the wrong medication, there would not be a claim worth pursuing. You can certainly make a complaint with the pharmacy. They may offer you some type of compensation.
A truck driver hit me while I was parked and then left after exchanging information. The cops only heard my side of the story but now his insurance company is saying the driver has another story and is sending an inspector to verify the damages.

What is the problem? They are coming to verify your damages. Of course the truck driver is going to tell his insurance company a different story.
My wife and my daughter were at sleepys mattress store. My daughter is 18 months and she fell and hit a corner bedding and cut her forehead and required 5 stitches. Do I have a case here just curious
answered on Jul 12, 2015
There would only be a case if it could be shown that Sleepys was negligent in any way. More information would be needed for this claim to be properly evaluated. Personal injury lawyers provide free consultations.

I would suspect your time to look into any possible claim has long passed( statute of limitations) You should contact a medical malpractice lawyer in your area who can go into this in greater detail.

Did you sign a retainer with the lawyer? It is hard to answer whether or not you have a good legal malpractice case from the information you've posted. You should contact another personal injury lawyer in your area who can go into this in greater detail.
A truck hit my parked car and I have a video of the driver leaving the scene before the police arrive but after we exchanged information. The truck driver's insurance company is now asking for the video. Should I give it to them? Will it be used against me in any way?
answered on Jul 8, 2015
I do not see how such a video could be used against you if it shows the driver leaving the scene. If it helps settling your case, I don't see why not.

Annoyance and discomfort? Do you mean pain and suffering? If yes, they would not be taxable. You should discuss this with your lawyer, assuming you were represented.

Your son spent one year in therapy? When did this happen? Generally, the time period within which to bring a lawsuit against a school (I'm assuming this was public) is very short. In any event, you should get a free consultation from a personal injury lawyer in your area.

What should I do?

You should make a claim against the other driver's insurance company. Some states bar an uninsured driver from making a claim against the other driver even if the other driver is at fault. I do not know if Illinois is one of those states. You'll find out once you make the claim.
