Q: When filing a divorce petition via mail, can I include the In Forma Pauperis (signed and notarized) with petition?

Yes, you can and you should include the in forma pauperis (or fee waiver) form with the petition. If you don't the court will reject your filing and demand either the IFP forms or a check to cover the filing fee.

You don't have a right but there is nothing preventing you from attending your stepdaughter's school functions.

No you cannot get in trouble by serving someone solely because they are on probation. It is not your responsibility to prevent a patron on probation from drinking alcohol.

Q: My daughter has a felony IV charge in Nebraska . She applied for entry into a diversion program, the prosecutor denied

The request, it was submitted for mediation and denied. what are her options to appeal this decision. If a plea is made and reduction to misdemeanor, would she be able to go into a diversion program then and has charges dismissed and expunged after completion

You have a limited amount of time to remove the judge without cause which means that you do not have to have a reason to remove the judge. You have to file in court for divorce. Divorces do not automatically happen by way of seperation.

Q: I am looking for case logs for firearm enhancements in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Please help

My boyfriend is being convicted of conspiracy to distribute cocaine... They are also trying to say that he had 2 guns even though they were not on his person and they were registered to another individual please help me find case logs that can possibly stop them from doing this.

I would have to look at the decree to determine what is the best/appropriate course of action. Depending on the way the decree is written it can either be enforced as a judgment or through contempt proceedings.

Yes a prosecutor can change or add charges to the complaint. This can be done all the way up to the trial date as long as the charges involve the same set of facts.

Provided you successfully completed probation you are not a convicted felon. There seems to be a frequent problem of the BCA records not being accurate in these circumstances. I would try by writing the BCA a letter and include the relevant court records to show that it is a misdemeanor... View More

Minnesota is a no-fault divorce state. This means that the court does not consider the reasons for the divorce.
