Q: Do i need to pay employment contract breach amount, even if i do not join company
I signed a legal agreement on stamp paper stating I would join the company on November 18th and work for at least one year. If I breach the contract, I must pay ₹2 lakh in compensation. Since today is the 16th and I no longer wish to join, So do i need to pay 2 lakh
