Go see an attorney about this. Yes, the 17 year old should be allowed to work, in my opinion. To deny him that will just alienate him further.
A 13 year old and a 17 year old are dating. They are
Only 3 years and 11 months apart , is this illegal and if the parent is okay with it can she or he get in trouble?

Date? What do you mean exactly by that. Some say it includes sex, others say it does not. A child under 15 cannot consent to sex in FL, and the 17 year old can be charged with a very serious crime if sex occurs between them.
he beat him up because they said that he stole a bike which he didn't but the kid beat him up and then later found out that he did not steal the bike he knew that he was 13 he did not return no punch and the kids got really bad hurt
What exactly does that mean? Is there some type of legal way get around the parents with out emancipation? Emancipation isnt in option, the length of time it would take shed be 18 before its said and done. Unless there is away to speed up the process. She wants out of the toxic controlling... View More

A 15 year old does not have the capacity to consent to sex with anyone. It depends upon the ages.

Yes, the parent can control who the 17 year old sees. The 17 year old might be hard to control, however.

Neither of them has the ability to consent to sex. It is not legal. But what you can and should do depends upon the actual facts. The 18 year old is an adult and can do what he or she pleases. What can be done depends upon the actual facts which I do not know enough of.

Yes, and I don't know because you did not provide enough facts.

Basically, a 16 or 17 year old in FL can have sex with a person under 24.
Females mom encouraged this behavior. For many years this went on. I am curious of what charges the male would have faced if it was ever reported. Or charges for the mom??
answered on Mar 30, 2015
The male can be charged with sexual battery, a 2nd degree felony with a potential punishment of 15 years in prison. The mother can be charged also, but more facts are needed to try to guess what she could be charged with.
