You gave no facts. Attorneys deal with facts and the law, and without the facts we cannot apply the law. So go see an attorney and be able to answer some questions like what type of social security you are on or have applied for.

Q: Can I receive Medicaid in Florida if I am separated but live at the same address?

If I am separated from my spouse but we live at the same address as roommates without sharing income (we both receive SSD), can I qualify for QMB or SLMB medicaid in Florida? We do not share food, I do not cook for him, he pays the rent and I pay the utilities.

More facts are needed. Who says your mother has to give you food stamps? She most likely gets them to be able to feed you.

You have turned 18 by now, and are automatically emancipated. There is a statute, available online, if you still care to find out. you can also just do an internet search for emancipation in Florida.
