I got into a car accident which was my fault and then received the citation
answered on Aug 17, 2019
It depends on if the citation was the result of a car wreck. If another vehicle was involved many times the court will require you to appear in court and address restitution. However, if it is just a citation for improper left turn, then you will be allowed to merely pay the fine in lieu of... View More
I have a Personal Injury Case that has gone on f/ 2 1/2 yrs. It went to Mediation, at which my former Atty and I disagree over Doctors fees from Doctors he referred me to that are outrageously inflated. With no resolve reached at the Mediation. First, if the case is in court as you have seen he has to have permission of the Court. You may object. Second, does the lien include the physician amounts? The attorney can ask for a lien but a court may limit it to a) a percentage under the contract of what he got them to provide, or the worth of... View More

From a safety standpoint (and you can find professionals in the transportation and highway safety industry who are better qualified than attorneys to explain this), tires with dry rot can experience catastrophe failure leading to serious injury or death. From a legal standpoint, a Georgia attorney... View More

You can't lie about it. So be careful what you say to the insurance company and if you are still making payments to the lender. However, I would still consult an attorney with more information to make sure you are good.

No, but leaving the scene could be a problem. I would turn the damage over to your insurance if you did the damage, make sure the person is paid, pay a fine if it it's not for leaving the scene. If it is please get yourself an attorney who handles traffic court. Leaving the scene is a serious... View More

If you were hurt contact a member of the Ga. Trial lawyers Assn.
You should turn any claim the car in front makes to your insurance even though you are not at fault.
The car behind is responsible. Don't worry about code sections. Worry about your taking care of the fallout.

Sure. The statute of limitations is well over that. The 30 days is the time within which companies have to resolve property damage claims if their insured is at fault.
However, if you were hurt in the collision, you should consult a member of the Ga. Trial Lawyers Assn--they give free consults

Get another attorney. The old attorney breached the contract so you should get some money back. Don't move without an attorney But especially considering her criminal history you never want to chance it. I pray this helps.

Hey we would need more information. Call a Criminal Defense Attorney or a Personal Injury attorney and they can review the police report and tell you what your options are. I pray this helps.

Make a copy of the letter, give it to your car insurance.
First, you are not responsible if a dog is running free. Get a copy of the borough code section and send a copy to your insurance company.
Do not speak further with the lawyer or the person.
Do not discuss this on... View More
Accident was 4-19-19. Insured motorist under USAA claimed 100 % responsibility in complete loss of my car(27500). They have misrepresented themselves and told me to go through own insurance company. I told them no and I would like to go through USSA. No money for personal loss.

I hope you are okay as a result of the accident. It's possible that what you were told does not amount to misrepresentation, although it could have been a recommendation that might not have been the best course of action for your interests. Before further time elapses, try to arrange a free... View More

It depends on how the turning lane is marked. You can't enter a middle lane a half a mile before the turn, that is for certain.

We've looked into this for a lot of clients, and unfortunately the answer isn't very good. You see those cameras above intersections and interstates and hope that they will have a record of exactly what happened so you can prove who is at fault, but most of the cameras are live-action... View More

If both cars are turning left, and if the center lane has a path directly ahead, but the person in the center lane decided to try to turn from that lane, anyone in the designated left turn lane has the right of way.

If your car is legally parked and someone hits it, you are not at fault because your car is parked facing traffic.
If you are in the process of parking--moving--that may be different.
