He has a clean record, but strangulation was after he threw a glass and was bloody,, CA says found probable cause, and going to jury, can he bond out onto hip, and do i have to appear for jury? Sense I'm not pressing charges?

Most domestic violence offenders are not released to HIP. Bond will be up to the judge. The Commonwealth is prosecuting the case so most decisions will be made by the Commonwealth Attorney.
Friend was arrested a year later for FTA, was given a new court date and FTA again, wanting to know if the warrant is still possibly active since statute of limitations for 2nd degree trespass is 5 years.
answered on Jul 19, 2022
You’d have to check with the actual court to be sure, but once a warrant is issued, it remains outstanding until it is resolved, regardless of whether the statute of limitations has run. If the warrant was issued, it will remain outstanding until it is resolved.
And take a credit card and only spend 90 dollars how can they indict me for 2nd deg burglary and fraudulent use of a credit card
answered on Jul 16, 2022
If you were invited it’s not a burglary but it is a theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. However, those are factual questions for a jury to decide.

None for the Petitioner. The dvo is only against Respondent.

Most likely nothing (maybe an unlawful transaction with a minor charge) if she admits she lied about her age.
answered on Jul 1, 2022
Same as the law for adults but it will be handled in juvenile court bc the offender is on 15 years old.
My dad's abusive and I'm leaving for college in a few months. I can rough it at a women's and children's center until then, but my mother and sister won't be able to (require meds, need finanical support, etc). I want to report my father but not if my other family will be more unsafe.

You can make a confidential report to CPS and let them investigate. Beyond that, you probably should wait until you’re permanently out of the residence.
Bond was set at $1000. He is unable to come up with the money. Does he get the bail credit of $100 a day spent in custody or can the county say they dont honor that?

No. Each county can list special circumstances which exempt them from having to honor the bail credit at all.
Statements. how can they charge me with the crime. The person whom the police say ran Into woods was described as a black male wearing a gray hoody . I'm white male and i was arrested 2 years later for the charges.
answered on Jun 27, 2022
Hire the best criminal defense attorney you can and see about getting it dismissed.
answered on Jun 26, 2022
Generally, no criminal charges unless you were charged at the time or if you violate the dvo.
answered on Jun 21, 2022
The EPO is civil and unless you were charged with criminal charges at the time. The epo should be all you face. However, if you violate the epo, the charges will be criminal and you could have to face them as well.
will any other charges be placed on me?!
answered on Jun 16, 2022
They certainly could, especially since the epo is civil rather than criminal. Hire a good defense attorney to handle the epo against you and determine whether you should testify.
