I have a charge for 26> or over then it says (limited access) next to that charge. Then I also got reckless driving and No seatbelt. My court date is today and I plan on pleading guilty do I need a lawyer for this case?

Yes. You do. Pleading to the 26 Over will suspend your license. Plead not guilty and hire a lawyer.

No. You will be eligible to expunge 5 years from the date of sentencing.

Depends on how fast you were actually going. You should hire a lawyer immediately to handle for you.

Most likely not. Get the tags and registration snd proof of insurance corrected and they will likely be dismissed.
Officer claimed I was doing 107 in a 70 mph . When I’m fact i was doing less since I had my cruise control set to at most 83 . He also claimed he was chasing someone else at the moment and then he pulled me over so I believe he got the other person speed. On the ticket he states I was doing 98... View More

No. If the ethnicity is incorrect it would be considered a minor error.
A week after getting pulled over he got his driver's license. Took the test and everything. Will having his liscense reduce the punishment?
Officer stated I was doing over 50 in a 35mph zone. It was actually a 40mph zone and he didn’t get me on radar.. also said he was giving me a “huge break” by not writing a speeding ticket but he really couldn’t because he didn’t radar me. so he wrote me a careless driving citation.

Probably not, but it might be able to be diverted and then dismissed.
I'm a 47 yro class A cdl driver, so my livelihood depends on my license. I have had 2 speeding tickets, in my work truck, the most recent being 2014. This ticket was 24feb2022, in my personal vehicle going West on I64. I had moved over for a silver s10 because he was on my tail, and after he... View More

If it happened in 2014, it’s about 7 years too late, although you could have them expunged at this point.

You’ll need the owner with you with some type of proper id to do it.
This is my first offense and have never been pulled over prior. I was released after passing a sobriety test. Will my insurance be notified of the traffic violation before I have to show up for my court date and if the charges are dropped will my insurance still be notified? What are the chances my... As a first time Offender you should be eligible for a marijuana education class and be allowed to have the drug charges eventually dismissed. As far as insurance there’s no way to know when and if A company will run a random check on you. I would recommend hiring an experienced criminal defense... View More

Yes, if you want to keep your license and you don’t have a car already insured.
This happened Dec. 2021 in Jefferson County KY. I haven't had a speeding ticket since Apr. 2016 and I'm usually a careful driver with everything up to date. The citation is non prepayable and my court date is in Feb. What should I expect? Will my license be suspended or will I have to... View More

It depends on your speed. If it was more than 35 mph over the speed limit the Prosecutors will likely not amend it down and you will face a license suspension hearing where you will either have your license suspended or probated. i would hire an experienced Attorney.

it is worth hiring a lawyer. They can cover for you in Court and can possibly get the ticket amended down to a lower speed that will allow you to take a class or go to traffic school to avoid points on your license.
I was pulled over by an officer...he never asked for license, insurance, or registration and came to the passenger side of the vehicle then demanded me and my passenger to get out of the car without any probable cause. We said no and the officer snatched me out of the car through the window of the... View More

It depends if they had probable cause. If they had reason to believe you all were engaged in criminal activity well before you got pulled over when you got pulled over then they may have a right to do what they did. If this was in Louisville they likely have body cam and will show exactly how they... View More
