In feb of 2021, I had to go to the store because I had no food at home, and I saw other people drive on the rose so I thought it was safe to go out, and on the way back I slid off the road and was in a self accident with nobody else involved, when somebody showed up to help me the called 911 and... If you plead guilty to them in 2021, you should be able to expunge them from your record in 2026.
I reached an intersection slightly before a bus moving opposite of me. I proceed slowly and as I’m driving the bus driver extends the bus arm and puts out the stop sign. I continue because otherwise I will be in the middle of an intersection. He puts his arms up at me and now I’m scared I’ll... View More

Highly unlikely that you will receive a ticket after the fact if you weren’t given one at the time. Violation has to be committed in the presence of an officer unless a criminal complaint is signed by a judge, which is highly unlikely.
They said they were so far behind it was taking this long. They just now sent me a letter. Should I go to court. Not sure what to do?

Yes. You should hire a lawyer to handle it for you. Unless it is dismissed, it will remain active until resolved no matter when it was received.
I was pulled over by a state trooper in Daviess County going 28 miles over the speed limit (83 in a 55, lead foot, I know it was a bad move now). He charged me with driving 25+ above the speed limit and he also charged me with careless driving. It’s not prepayable and I have to appear in court. I... View More

You need to hire an attorney immediately. Speeding 26 Over or greater is a suspension level ticket and your license can be suspended. Hire a lawyer and see if you can't get the charge amended so you can participate in diversion or traffic school and keep your driver's license.
I am displaced and disabled. Displaced as far as work, and housing. I quilfy as indignant. The only court appointed lawyer available in all of Cumberland KY... had completely blindsided me when they choose to revoke their duties and responsibilities as my lawyer due to a difference in how we shall... Check with your local bar association and/or Legal Aid Society. They maintain rosters of pro Bono and reduced fee attorneys who can help you.

My license? The court date is the day after I'm scheduled to go get my license back.

Assuming you can get your license back in Kentucky before going to court this question concerns strategy and you should discuss with a lawyer. If you get your license back you will spend money on a reinstatement fee. That money could be wasted if your license is suspended again. Driving on a DUI... View More
But they told me I still have to attend. Are court costs required to be paid in full tomorrow. And what can I expect to happen at court (kentucky)

No. They won’t have to be paid. If you had valid insurance and registration corrected, you may be able to get the cases dismissed without any court costs.
A sugar attack and I drove not even 10 min got pulled over I passed every test
The officer was fired for using unnecessary force (not just on me) and lying on the police report, and when I went to court all charges were dropped. Should they have reimbursed me for all of the money I paid? Also is a male officer allowed to use force on and arrest a female citizen?

You need to have a civil rights attorney view your situation. You may possibly be entitled to bigger damages depending on the facts of your case.
I was pulled over for registration that was expired for two years. The officer told me it was a 'fixer' ticket and that I would not have to appear in court if I updated my registration. I took my updated registration to the courthouse and the guy told me he wasn't able to make that... View More

Most likely but you will still have to go to court to show proof and get it dismissed.
I do not believe I was going that fast. What should my next step be if my court is in 5 days?
Last week I was pulled over in TN going 16 over. Am I at risk of losing my license? Should I go to court date and try to get the ticket dropped? What can I do next?

No. You are not at risk. However, you should hire an attorney to handle the ticket for you.
Is it possible for her to only pay the fines and not have it on her record.
answered on May 3, 2022
She may be eligible for a diversion program where after the case can be dismissed and expunged but there is really no mechanism by which she can pay a fine but not have the charge on her record. Hire her an attorney to resolve this for her so she is not negatively impacted.
The road has 4 lanes total and a median seperating them into 2 lane roads, I'm certain the bus was in the opposite 2 lanes, I would like to fight this ticket and plead not guilty.
Now live in Kentucky, but I now own a Florida driver’s license, after some research, I was told a notice of suspension was being sent out but I never got it. What do I do?

Contact a lawyer in Fl in the city where you got the ticket snd hire them to resolve it for you. Most likely, your license is already suspended and you don’t know it so you should address this quickly.
Officer claims we were doing 70 in a 45. When in actuality it’s only 45 when there’s construction, which there was none that day as it was raining making the limit 55. We sped to maybe 60 and only to pass someone going 25. Once we passed, A semi started merging and it looked as if they were... View More

It would be much more prudent to hire an attorney and resolve it than to litigate it.
