Has been in jail since March 12?

Call your district attorney to seek child support when the father gets out of jail.

Can't tell what your question is. Did you fail to report to probation? If so, there is either an attachment or warrant out for your arrest and you need a criminal attorney because Dept of Corrections will be looking to revoke your probation.

If there is a support order through the DA's office, you can call Support Enforcement in Amite. IF there is a support order as part of a civil custody or divorce proceeding, you can check with the Clerk of Court for that Parish.

If he didn't go to jail on child support, what did he go to jail for?
My ex collected a check due to his mental instability. He didn’t bother to take me to court for custody and I avoided him due to a restraining order that I had on him at the time, due to his abusive tendencies. He hasn’t tried to reach out in 9 years, but I’m worried that if I try to file for... View More

And just be waiting for graduation. Does child support continue? She also has a part time job. I know the law says she has to be a full time student- is this correct???
answered on Jul 14, 2019
If she is still enrolled in a secondary school program and not yet 19, you still have to pay child support until she graduates or turns 19 whichever comes first.
I received joint custody in 2007 & the last time I saw my child was in 2011. I know for a fact the mother married & my child has been living with her grandparents. Child support has me paying $200 a month but it is not being used to support my child. My child does not live with her mother... View More

If you are having problems seeing your child, you have the obligation to file something with the court to seek specific visitation rights. Child support isn't dependent on your exercising visitation. If you don't believe you are paying the correct amount, paying the correct person, or... View More
If I legitimized my child, does the court automatically change his last name?
answered on Jul 11, 2019
You need to hire a family law attorney. Don't know if you are the father or the mother or whether you legitimized the child by marriage or floated the child so can't answer your question.
answered on Jul 9, 2019
You still owe child support until the child turns 19 or ceases to become a full-time high school student, whichever comes first.

Both kids need counseling, guardasil shots, birth control and both sets of parents can be investigated by child protection.
Does she have to give the child the married mans last name or list him on the birth certificate? Will she automatically have full custody? Child support laws?
answered on Jun 30, 2019
No she gets to choose the child's last name. She has to list the father, if she knows who it is. Her custody is the same as the bio father's. Child support laws are the same as they would have been had the parents been divorced.
Knowing he was not the father at the beginning and now that we are divorced I went through the state for child support because he was behind. The biological father came in the picture when the child was 2 years old. The child is 13 now almost 14. What are his rights if he gets the acknowledgment... View More

If acknowledgement revoked for fraud, he has no support obligation and no visitation rights.

Louisiana has a relocation statute that says she can't move more than 75 miles. If you anticipate that happening, have your attorney file a restraining order.
