I never knew she moved him out of state until i was able to pick him so I had my mother to call her because we don’t get alone so she stated to my mother that I knew that she moved but that’s a total lie because I never signed any papers with us having joint custody..what should I do?

If she removed the child from Louisiana, she would have had to comply with the relocation statute. She should have notified you of the proposed move before it occurred. If she didn't, you have the right to file contesting the move. A family law/custody attorney can help you with this.

I gave my son’s mother two checks, one dated 8/1 and one dated 8/15. I got my son for my usual time with him on 7/24, and due to his mother getting evicted and tons of other legal issues, I filed and received emergency custody of him on 8/9. She still cashed the check dated 8/15 even though it... View More

I allowed him to pay the 500 for the past 2 years and he recently asked to stop making payments completely due to changing jobs and having 2 other children. How does this work?

His other kids irrelevant. His new job Is relevant. Get a judgment of arrears for the $12,000 he already owes you.
He also has had a new job which has better pay in the past 2 years, not sure if it was reported or not. I currently get $300 a month .. but I know with his better pay and household income .. is there a chance I will get the increase.

You may be able to get an increase if his income has increased but not because he got married.

Your wife may have had a private attorney. Look up the lawyer on the Louisiana State Bar Association website or look at the end of the petition with which you were served. You can send the child support directly to your wife or her lawyer. But ONLY do so by check; not money order, not cash.

If either tournincome or hers changes substantially, yes she can ask for an increase.

I pay each month and provide extra for her and her baby and her mother does the want to drop my support bc she's afraid she will not get as much from the grand child's father

Your child support is dur to the mother of your daughter until your daughter is 18 or has graduated from high school, whichever comes last, but no later than her 19th birthday. This will NOT effect the child support your daughter re receives from the 19 year old.

Child support is your child's right. Why don't you just put the money in a college fund for your child?

No, a court can only order child support from the date something is filed asking for it, or "from the date of judicial demand."
