She should hire a custody lawyer to file for ex parte custody and a protective order.

Contact the district attorney in your parish and ask for support enforcement.
Son is 18, supposed to grad in May. If custodial parent has or does enroll him in community college or other post high school education, does support still end at HS graduation or 19th birthday if he does not graduate? Again, child does not have a learning or physical disability.

Without disability, it ends at 18 or high school graduation, whichever comes last, but not past 19th birthday. The only exception is if the parties have contractually extended it.
Custodial parent no longer wants child support that was ordered by state. Child now stays 50/50 and would like non custodial to keep the money. Custodial parent does not work, so income for custodial and non custodial is a huge difference. (Custodial is married and has other children, they live off... View More

Yes. A Mediator can draft a child support judgment if both parties agree.

Non custodial can move where ever they like. Custodial can only relocate children with other parent's or court's permission.

That would probably depend on whether Support Enforcement submitted your name for suspension of licenses as a result of the arrearage. If so, you would probably speak with to your caseworker to try and make satisfactory payment arrangements to lift the suspension.
I thought she had to wait a year

As long as your child is under 19 and still in high school, she can put you back on. No waiting period.
My son will be 19 in April and graduate in may. The court is saying I have to paying a years worth of back pay. Will it still be owed once he graduates? I was told it will be closed and wiped clean.

Ongoing child support ends at youngest child's 18th birthday or graduation from high school, whichever comes last. But not later than 19th birthday. Arrears in child support are due until 10th anniversary of that date
I'm pursuing child support and waiting on a court date. The father hasn't made any effort to see his son, I've been the one to reach out. The father is a convicted felon and also has a child endangerment charge from a previous incident with his first born. His family is trying to... View More

Hire a custody lawyer to file for emergency custody. Do NOT let him or his mother have your son until there is a judgment of custody, because he doesn't have to give your son back without one.
My question is does he still have to pay the mother child support for a child that doesn't live with her anymore. If no what can we do to get her taken off of the child support order. She will be 18 in September 2021 and graduates in may of 2021
answered on Jan 30, 2021
Yes he still has to pay child support until there is an order terminating it. You have to figure out which is more expensive: paying 8 months of child support or hiring a lawyer.

Parents of children over 5, if they are not special needs, are imputed with income if they do not work.

If your child is 27, you are liable for child support for any payments due when he was 17, until his graduation from high school or 19th birthday, whichever came last. This could be up to 24 payments.
My ex wife filed for divorce in 2018 but was denied because she filed the wrong divorce, however I was ordered to pay child support and spousal support. At the time I didn't know the divorce was denied because I was ordered to pay the judgement.

Consult with a divorce attorney because you don't give enough information.
My spouse was caught cheating, though we gave it another shot. He is showing signs of cheating again, and will not allow me access to his phone any further. Would the court be able to pull his phone record so I can have a fault divorce. I believe it will speed up the process.

Having a adultery, fault based divorce actually will slow down the process significantly. And it is much more difficult than a no fault divorce. You should probably pursue a no fault divorce; you can receive all of the relief you need through the regular process as well.
How can I go about getting that money? Would I qualify for the cash benefits from the government?

If he has been in MN less that 180 days, hire a custody lawyer and file to get him back to LA and custody.
