With limited exceptions, under Missouri law a party to a contract cannot simply change his or her mind. Courts are there to adjudicate contract claims when parties cannot agree and someone files a lawsuit.

They can sue you if you don’t pay and you can sue them. Anyone can sue anyone. The better questions concern this risks and costs of litigation. I suggest you meet with a local attorney, preferably with consumer law experience. Ask about the Merchandising Practices Act.

The issue with "as is" vehicles is that they are not covered under Missouri's lemon law. The lemon law only applies to new vehicles, not used vehicles. You may have an action for a breech of warranty, depending on what the dealer represented to you in the buying process.... View More
