Q: Can someone that receives child support from Ohio but lives in Puerto Rico also receive public assistance?

Assuming PR public assistance knows and they meet the ADC guidelines, no reason why not--plenty of parents are in that situation.

Q: My kids father lives in New York, I live in Puerto Rico w his two kids, where would I proceed w child support.

He currently owes 12,000 but he's MIA. I know he's back home with his mom, what steps would I need to do to try and receive child support?

In Puerto Rico, the child support is due since it was requested at ASUME or in the court with jurisdiction.
