I didn’t know that I was eligible to receive my deceased husband’s benefits. I applied yesterday. SSA said they would pay retroactively 6 months (from October 22). Am I eligible to receive ALL the benefits from when I was first eligible, at age 66 years and 2 months? Thank you!

The question will be at what point does your sustained work show an ability to engage in substantial gainful activity. Suggest you connect with your local legal aid office as your earnings look to exceed your SSI check. They may also affect any other government benefits, public housing etc.
