Ex's father has essentially taken control of child support/custody and I want it between myself and exwife alone.

You have not given enough facts here for a solid answer. Basically, he has no standing, unless there is imminent danger to the children.

My wife is still working and earns in excess of $100,000 per year

Probably not, but a complete review of the financial circumstances is in order.
He has been locked up since April & the court is constantly sending me papers about pre-trials, when will it end?

You can call the victim advocate at the local state attorney's office and discuss this.
can it be sublet to a title company.

This is a very confusing question to me. You cannot do anything with a piece of property that you do not own. Sublet to whom? You want to buy it from an estate, and you will have to do that first.
22. TERMINATION UPON SALE OF PREMISES. Notwithstanding any other provision of
this Lease, Landlord may terminate this lease upon 60 days days' written notice to Tenant that the Premises have been sold.
answered on Nov 17, 2015
It would appear so, from the wording. More facts are needed as to what has actually happened. The sale is not consummated until the closing, which is usually around 60 days from the date of the contract.
My dad was assaulted by a drunken guy in the community where he lived my father was assaulted by this young man that was drunk and who cut my dad he has a public defender but he isn't doing an even decent job what should I do?
answered on Nov 17, 2015
The pro bono attorney in criminal matters is the public defender's office. Otherwise, there are not any pro bono criminal defense attorneys, basically.

Well, this is quite a mess. The lease says 60 days notice, normally without a contract that says that it would have to be at least half of a month. The problem is that you cannot possibly find another place for you and the kids to live on 2 days notice. Negotiate further with the landlord. That is... View More

Can his family be snicky and try and take my son from me through the courts in PR even though the dad lives in NJ and I live in NY.
answered on Nov 13, 2015
Basically no, because the the uniform child custody jurisdiction act states that any custody determination by a court must be brought in the home state of the child, and in this case that would be NY.

My sons girlfriend recently moved out of her parents house, she's 19... Without having to go to court, what can she do to get her dog back from her parents who are refusing to give the dog to her? She has a few vet bills and some prize ribbons she's won. Please help??
answered on Nov 13, 2015
What you are asking is whether she can sue, and we do not have enough facts from you to answer that. The parents will probably say that they own the dog, right? Of course she can go pay an attorney a ton of money to sue, or she might try it herself, but will need to know what the court costs are... View More
Easily influencedinfluenced the grown man went inside while my son was the look out they have him two years first offence is that right
answered on Nov 13, 2015
You simply do not understand the law, we do not expect you to. Your son was charged under the doctrine of principals, in essence. That means that whoever does any act in furtherance of the crime can be charged just as the one who actually committed the crime.
The landlord met with me at the end of September to tell me they wanted to sell the house, and I needed to be out by November. They informed me they would call me in October to tell me when in November i will need to move by. So if it will be the beginning, middle or end of the month

Read your lease. Yes, you would still be required to pay rent, until you leave.
