A Utah attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. If they paid for the phone, the agreement is probably under their name, together with control over the phone. Good luck

This is something that a tax law attorney should answer. There is a section here, "Tax Law." Not all questions are ultimately answered, but you could try adding "Tax Law" to your headings. You posted three weeks ago and it's possible your question was overlooked in the general category. Good luck

He agreed to send a refund but has not after two weeks. I hired someone to finish the job. I took pictures of the mess he made. His helpers broke additional tile on an adjacent wall. They put the stucco all over and we has to chip out the mess on additional tiles

Animals are considered property. She now has the animal, so I think that it would be hard to take it away from her. If you still had the dog you could have claimed the puppy "abandoned" and went through the process of changing ownership. Unfortunately, I don't think you can do much at this point.
