A motorcycle is a vehicle just like a car. There is no difference between the two under the law.
Why would the the wrecker tow the vehicle to the man's yard instead of inpounding the vehicle. Why did the police wait 9 hour before notifying my mother in law. And how on earth does a person charged with dui and homicide by vehicle get only a $1500 bond

I was trying to return home after a friend's housewarming. An officer pulled me over because i was driving a little slow. He made me do the walk test in which I was fine. He then made me do the breathalyzer test multiple times until he got the results he wanted. He arrested me. I was bailed... View More

Hire a DUI attorney in the State where you received the DUI.

I am not sure of your question. Has your limited permit been revoked? Once you complete the terms of your limited permit, provided you have no issues with it, you should be able to obtain your driver's license.

Yes, they can. So long as police have what is known as probable cause to arrest you, they can charge you with DUI. You have the right to challenge that determination, however. Hire an attorney ASAP if you have not done so already. Good luck!

I just completed a 5 yr revocation for FL dui. In order to get my license back in FL I have to install the interlock device for one year that I have not completed. I just recently moved to Georgia and want to know what steps in need to take to get a GA license.

It sounds like you will probably have to get your license reinstated in Florida first before Georgia will issue you a new license. Contact the Department of Driver Services.
The dui incident occurred in the state of Hawaii last year while I was working out there. I was underage (19 at the time) so I have been told by Georgia law that I am not able to receive a hardship license. In this case it will restrict me from school, dui mandatory meetings, work, receieving my... View More

No, unfortunately, there is not. Under 21 DUI is a hard license suspension.
I bailed my ex girlfriend out of jail yesterday. She was arrested for DUI, driving on the wrong side of the road, failure to maintain lane, open container, and going 71 mph in a 55 in Georgia. This was her first DUI. Im worried what kind of jail time she is looking at (minimum) and the best course... View More

A first DUI arrest in 10 years carries a minimum of 24 hours in jail. The best course of action is to consult with an experience DUI lawyer. There are two pieces to a DUI arrest in Georgia that must be analyzed. First, the criminal component. The criminal case can be broken into four parts. The... View More

Yes, you can. Driving ability, physical manifestations (odor, condition of eyes, walking/standing ability) all can be used against you.

That is a better question for an attorney in that particular state. Your husband needs to make sure his Georgia DL does not get suspended, however, as that might cause his license to be suspended in the other state. Georgia law requires certain steps to be taken once a person is charged with DUI... View More

Under Georgia law, you must identify yourself to law enforcement when they stop you.
However, any question beyond identification is purely optional.

2nd dui. First was in 1993

Two answers are possible. But, BOTH depend on whether your administrative license suspension hearing is OVER or not. If it is over, then this answer will be of no use.
1. The new law did NOT allow for those arrested prior to July 1, 2017 to benefit from the provisions. Your lawyer should... View More
The citation I received the night of the charge did not have reckless driving printed on it anywhere. The court papers has reckless driving and dui as 2 separate charges
answered on Aug 20, 2017
No, it is not. Two possible answers exist for this. (1) some police departments, particularly in MUNICIPAL Court locations, will issue BOTH tickets. This way, if a reduction of a DUI to a lesser charge is possible, then the prosecutor need not draw up an amended accusation. (2) Your driver was bad... View More
