The father is completely wrong. The Judgment is in force until your child turns 18 or graduates from high school but no later than 19. Before he hits 18 file for contempt and get a judgment of arrears. Then THAT judgment needs to be renewed every 10 years

Q: Applied for child support enforcem. but don’t want to pursue it. DCFS says I can’t close case bc kids are on Medicaid.

How can I close the case? And how is it that they can force me to continue with it and go to court, if I want it closed and I’m the one that initiated all this to begin with?!

By being on Medicaid, State taxpayers are paying your kids' health insurance. State taxpayers want the parents to pay them back for this health insurance. You can't shut down a Support Enforcement case if you accept state or federal aid.
