I am not aware of any such statute without doing the research. Courts generally do not restrick pick-ups and drop-offs to the legal parent unless someone asks for that order and there is a history of bad blood between one of the parents and the non-parent. That would be a good start. Also check with Probate Ct. to see if anyone else has been named as executor of the estate. DCSS can help with this, perhaps.

Q: can a father have visitation and be alone with my daughter?

I am exclusively breastfeeding my three month old daughter and I don't feel safe letting her alone with her father and specially with the fathers parents around, will it be possible for him to have alone visitation with her?

If a father asks a court to make orders allowing visitation, the court will always consider the safety of the child first. You can hire an investigator or speak with relatives or friends. Also, check out social media. It you know his date of birth and/or social security no., that will make it easier as well. If your husband is employed, he can be served at work.
