The CBP officer at the airport where you enter the US will make that determination. If you need more time, you can apply to extend your B-1 status.

You, or your attorney, can write a letter to the USCIS which will determine whether you are subject to the 2-year home residency requirement.

With an EAD, you can drive Uber or Lyft on the side, but you need to continue working your H-1B job full time.

If you get married, you will lose any protections you have under the Child Status Protection Act.

Q: Hi! I was invited for a naturalization interview, but i dont have my passport of origin, only copy of it. Is that ok?

I recently applied for my Belarus passport renewal and its not gonna be ready in time for naturalization interview. I never left USA for more then 6 months in last 7 years.

Having a passport is not a requirement for a naturalization interview. A copy is sufficient.

Unless her country of changeability is India or China, she will get an interview in about one year after she files for adjustment of status.

Although this is possible, generally, I would advise against this. Why would they want to go through this process when only one of them will be able to employ you?

Yes, there is always a chance that you could be denied. If so, apply for a B-2 visitor's visa at a US Consulate in your country. Good luck!

F-1 students from Iran are exempt from the Travel Ban. However, given the present ever-changing position of the Trump Administration, if you can avoid visiting Iran, that is what I would advise. Good luck!
