Child support has ever been given. My question is if my sons father goes to court, can he get full custody? Also what steps should I be taking in a situation like this for precautions? I’m not even sure who technically has custody as of right now. Him or I.

If there is no court order, you have custody of your child. However, it seems that you have been sharing parenting time with his dad, which is a good thing. A court determines what's in the child's best interest regarding custody. If you have your son more now and the schedule is... View More

My hubby showed for the TPR hearing, I did Not. Apparently, our rights WERE terminated. He didn't sign any paperwork, and, as I stated, I did not even go. Can our babies be adopted out without even our Knowledge? Also, can we adopt our own kids?!

If your rights were terminated, the children can be adopted with no notice to you.
A few days later, we find out that there is a warrant for his arrest in GA that we believe his parents called and reported him for. But he did nothing wrong. Now his mother is harassing us and threatening us.

You haven't asked a question, but if he has a warrant, then he needs to turn himself in. If the mother is harassing you, you can just block her from your phone to solve that problem.
Guardian ad litern told judge the parents did not have money for report however they both paid for court fees with money available
answered on Oct 20, 2021
It is not required. If the report is not already drafted, it takes many hours to do that and will cost the parties probably an additional $5,000 at least. So they may have paid for the investigation, but the written report is more.

Don't worry about the lawyer says. First, anything you add to the petition isn't considered evidence. In court, you present the evidence to the judge. But send clear copies of your evidence to the attorney ahead of time. Let the judge decide if your evidence is usable or not. But you... View More

If you think your child is in harm or danger, then you shouldn't be ok with joint custody. Presenting a custody case is more than just giving the judge a parenting plan, but more about proving why that is in your child's best interest. Speak to an attorney in your area about your options.
