You should not be scared as you will eventually get over this, but it is a serious offense which will give you a criminal record and yes you could get jail time. Thus the correct word would be concerned. That being said with a good lawyer on your side you may be able to eliminate this jail time... View More

You should get a response within 24 hours during normal business hours M-F, if you hired a good lawyer. Are you sure the lawyer still has permission to talk to you as the client can take this approval away from the attorney and that may be the reason the attorney is not responding to you.

Lawyers aren't like buying electric for your house, its like buying a steak you have many different qualities and cuts, in this case you have the lawyers reputation, success rate and years of experience. The better the lawyer, the more experience, the higher success rate the more you will pay.

The answer depends on the facts of the case, let me give you an example and attorney would need to ask: Were the crimes against you? Many different factors exist thus if you really need to know the answer that applies to your case, I would suggest setting up a consultation with a lawyer.

A dwi does not require the police to actually see you drive, it only requires you to have the ability to drive the vehicle. It's crazy but that is the law, its different from the wording of the offense and thus confuses people.
