I sympathize with you. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to find out your new court date, however what steps you took may assist you in getting in fee/charges associated with the warrant for your missed court date--that is up to the discretion of the Judge. I was stopped at an inspection sticker stop and given a non-moving for expired inspection sticker and no proof of insurance, but the vehicle isn't mine. Will I be held liable regardless of ownership?
The school sells two types of parking spaces, reserevd and not reserved. The not reserved spots are $15 for a parking tag, and they can park anywhere in the parking lot except for the reserved spaces. I bought a reserved spot for $50. This means that I own this spot from 7:30am-3:30pm. Someone... View More

Quite frankly, in all likelihood law enforcement or tow companies will not mess with this----you really need to get the school to enforce and take action against the offender.
DMV keeps telling me under the liability compulsory laws I am expected to have insurance even if my vehicle is in storage. But isn't that if vehicle was involved in an accident?

No unless wheels removed and up on blocks (immobilized) you must have insurance. If unauthorized driver was ticketed for a moving violation, you will also have your license suspended until you sell the car or you get insurance.
The law says I am not responsible for an unauthorized driver but DMV insist that I'm responsible for it not having insurance

Your attorney can file an action with an administrative law court.

They should give you one. Hopefully, you are paying by check so the check is your receipt.

Pay it by check in full. Note on the check that it is payment in full and send it with a cover letter that you need a Release. Then get insurance.

That would probably depend on whether Support Enforcement submitted your name for suspension of licenses as a result of the arrearage. If so, you would probably speak with to your caseworker to try and make satisfactory payment arrangements to lift the suspension.

Your son needs a traffic court lawyer because 100 mph on the INTERSTATE may be screened as a felony.
I called to ask about more time to pay a speeding ticket. They told me show up to court and they will give me more time. But they changed the court dat from tomorrow to a day next week. I can't go next week I will be out of town for work. What can I do?

(1) You can pay your ticket before the court date if you do not plan to contest the ticket (unless a required court appearance offense).
(2) You can hire an attorney to represent you. That attorney could appear on your behalf and enter a plea. You would not have to be present.... View More
