Not sure what your question is. Presumably you did that to cover cost of the tow. Has no affect on your insurance.

They are correct, though morally as you were using your car they should at least pay for the deductible. If you were hurt it is a workers compensation injury.

Seems it would make sense to go back, put a note on the windshield or at least change the tire now. If they have a sign warning you not to park, you'd better believe it can be towed.

It's worth your getting an attorney, because no matter how creative I or any defense counsel can be about the accident, you were in the seat when you had a suspension. This generally --even without crashes--suggests to the judge that he needs to use a 2x4 to get the point across. So you are... View More

Q: Insurance is asking for more than what accident is worth, what should I do?

I got into an accident in Sept. 2016, it was my fault. Q: I sold a vehicle that was totaled before the new buyer registered it. Am I still liable for impound fees and damages?

A lawyer will need to review all the specifics to make a determination. As a general rule, if the seller and buyer signed bill of sale AND the seller proceeded to remove the car from the seller's name (e.g. cancelling insurance, removing license plates, etc.) the liability should not pass to...
