Q: I had a pharmacist basically accuse me infront of other customers like i wrote a fake prescription for my adhd medicine

And would not fill it for me, i had to go back to doctor and spend more money for visit and get my prescriptions moved to another location. Do i have any type od case too pursue?

Believe it or not, pharmacists can refuse to fill prescriptions. If you had a written prescription you should have been able to go to another pharmacy without getting a new prescription from the doctor.

There is a statute of limitations for almost every crime, as well as for every civil cause of action (meaning grounds for lawsuits). I cannot give you a legal opinion in this forum on whether you are beyond the limitations deadline at this point, but you are probably beyond it. See Fla. Statutes... View More

Abortion care and any other kind of medical care must meet certain professional standards. If there is negligent conduct that is deemed to fall below those professional standards, and the negligent conduct is determined to be the cause of injury or death, there would be a potential medical... I agree with Mr. Thorgaard, but his answer works only if you have comp/collision coverage. If you don't, or if you'd rather not make a claim to your own insurance, you would set up a claim with the insurer of the entity that left the piece of metal in the street. Might've been a... View More

Presumably you have not yet experienced symptoms of shellfish poisoning, if so, you have not suffered damages. So, you should find another roommate.

A Florida attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks, and it appears you have a looming statute of limitations.

You may want to consider discussing the best way to do this with Florida med mal attorneys. When med mal law firms review files, they often advance...

Did you ask your attorney that question? He/she might have a good reason for waiting, such as waiting for a particular medical report. If your relative owned the vehicle you were driving, or if they were otherwise negligently involved in the facts of the case, then they can be included as a defendant in the personal injury/car accident law suit. Each situation is different, but if your relative carries adequate insurance, then... View More

Yes, you were battered, which is a crime and a tort (a wrong for which you may make a claim for money damages). The extent of your injury is a factor as to whether it is the type of case you will be able to get assistance or representation on. Regarding criminal charges, only your local police... View More

Your inquiry is a bit vague. If this was a hit-and-run, with a driver fleeing the accident scene, what does "found at a hit and run" mean? If you mean the truck was found somewhere else, and police determined that it was the vehicle that hit and ran, AND the police have not yet... View More

The answer depends. Assuming UPS has a valid no drug policy in place and that UPS can prove a valid "chain of custody" of the drug test sample, then there is a rebuttable presumption of impairment that can be overcome by showing evidence that you were not impaired.
