Can he do it? Probably, though it seems odd to do so after 7 months unless something happened more recently. If you don't have a lawyer yet, it's time to get one as soon as possible.

No. The relevant language from the Emancipation of Minors Act appears in section 2: "No order of complete or partial emancipation may be entered under this Act if there is any objection by the minor, his parents or guardian."

Dui. Max penalty 364 days in county jail but would get probation on 1st offense. For 2 years, fine, costs, drug and alcohol evaluation, complete all recommeded treatment.

Nope. Only a licensed Illinois Attorney can represent you. You really need to hire an experienced criminal defense attorney right now because a felony charge is not something you want to try and handle on your own.
