Depends on the terms of your boarding contract or, if no written contract, you must give owner notice in writing to cure default or they will be did to cover boarding.

If the mother of the pup was pregnant during the marriage she would have a property right claim to the pup just as you would.

Yes. The dog belongs to him. You just said so in your question. If he is mistreating the dog, report him to animal services. If they remove the dog, them you can possibly adopt him.
I live in Kentucky.

Not unless your dog leaves your property. There are leash laws and if your dog acts that way while running unrestrained off your property, the statute permits them to shoot your dog.
My Uncle, Aunt, and Cousin arrived with a Cornsnake when they came to live with us. He had a glass bowl, maybe a twig or two, and that was it. His tank is pretty small for his size, I think, and he didn't even come with a heatlamp. I've been taking care of him for a while and none of them... View More

You do not but your mother does. She can take the snake with you to North Dakota.
These are possible nearby neighbors dogs and I’ve contacted animal control numerous times they won’t do anything. One dog acts aggressive towards us on our property when we come in contact with it. Could I get in any legal trouble if I were to set a live trap and catch one and take it to the pound?
answered on Jan 10, 2021
You can trap them (only on your property) and deliver them to animal services, yes.
Can not talk to these people. Don’t know what to do
I have contacted the Montgomery County, KY sheriff's office and they refuse to take the dog back. The people who took him are claiming he is a gift, which is false. I have all the paperwork proving ownership, but they still will not move.
What actions can I take in this situation?
The girl who stole my dog is currently in custody, but her mother refuses to return to him me. He is microchipped and I have vet and purchase records that are only in my name. What can I do to get him returned?
answered on Nov 10, 2020
Bring your records, come down here, go to the sheriff of the county and let him retrieve him for you.
The dogs are chipped in her name but she refuses to help me financially with them
What can I do, they are killing me financially with all the food, grooming, vet bills, I even pay someone to go let them outside because of my long work hours
