Q: Is it possible to receive a reduction of an intermittent sentence?

I received 45 weekends to serve as an intermittent sentence. Right before COVID hit. Due to COVID the jail was not accepting weekenders and I was unable to serve my intermittent sentence until now. A couple years later.

That decision is left solely upon the the judge who sentenced you. You could certainly file a motion and ask that the time be reduced.

Q: My son a daughter we jumped by a bunch of kids their age and older when I called the police they wouldn't file charges

My kids had Mark's and I took them to the er for further evaluation. Can anything be done about these kids jumping mine. I even had a witness to the whole thing and the refused to speak to her

Fights happen all the time among young children and the police don’t always file charges unless there are weapons used. Q: Is it legal for the law to make up an alias on me when they know my legal name then indict me under that made up name?

My legal last name has been the same forever I even have drivers license and property in my legal name. But they indicted and convicted me under the guy I've lived with last name. When my legal name is run it has no charges or convictions under the name they made up for me.

Q: Will i go back to jail at a pretrial conference? Ive never been in trouble and its for 1st degree complic bail jumping

Im on $5000 surety bond still confused on exactly what i did. I was given no details honestly. I was in jail for 5 days finally went to court, asked for a bail reduction then boom im rekeased on this surety bond and told to be in court 4/25/22 @9am

Q: If someone has warrants from another state that isn't in Kentucky can they get their license in Kentucky?

The warrants aren't driving related. & They have never had their license in general. Also they are a resident in Kentucky and have been for almost 2 years now.

Q: If I’m 18 and my girlfriend is 15 and doesn’t want charges filed on her behalf, can she chose to have them dismissed?

I don’t want to disclose details, I’m just wondering if she can chose to not have them filed for her, or if she decides she does not agree can her guardian still file on her behalf if she is capable of making the decision?

If charges have been filed the victim in a case cannot decide by herself to have them dismissed. It’s up to the prosecutor. Input from the victim will always be taken into consideration by the prosecutor and obviously if the case is taken all the way to trial and the victim testifies to help the... View More

Yes. A warrant does not preclude you from getting an ID in any state.

No. You will be eligible to expunge 5 years from the date of sentencing.

Parole is never guaranteed and it depends on many factors other than just your charges. Your chances of parole are good if you have no prior record, you are not convicted of violent offenses and you have had good behavior and taken advantage of classes in prison.

What are you asking. If it’s just shoplifting and it’s a low amount typically they would not ask you to do 10 days. They would also not come to your home and break in to try to arrest you. ‘Most likely nothing. Walmart doesn’t prosecute shoplifters.
