The ticket will say if attendance in court is required or if you can just pay the ticket.
The cop said hed give him a ticket for 56 in a 55. My son said he was driving in the right lane behind trucks and his car couldn’t go 93 if it wanted to. Can he fight the ticket? It’s 2 points and 76$ fine

The minimum points on any speeding ticket is two points. The judge does not have the authority to drop them any lower. Your insurance can take the conviction into account but that really depends on your carrier.
