Your question is unclear- you don say what is being notarized. Generally, the notary will require you to sign in his/her presence, or in other words, the notary needs to actually see you sign. Yes, do not try to represent yourself on this- alimony and property division issues can be complicated. The Judge cannot act as your lawyer and is required to make all litigants follow the court rules. Consult an experienced divorce lawyer soon.

Q: Should i hire an lawyer on uncontested divorce if i agreed on with wifes lawyer papers.

We agreed that i retain all my debt that is around 15k and in return i get 20k of her 401k.. Sketchy part is her lawyer keeps telling me i don't have to be at court and she is still working on QDRO

Q: I'm looking to get a legal separation from my husband who has been abusing prescription drugs for five years.

He is in rehab for the 5th time, was fired from his job also. I have a job but can not pay my bills and pay to get a separation. Would it be possible for me to get some help here? I need to ensure that he can not further destroy me financially. Any advice you can offer would help me. Thank you.
