When it comes to dash cams and posting accidents to YouTube, if the dash cam belongs to the driver but the driver is in a company vehicle; does the driver need the vehicle owners permission to post the accident on the internet/YouTube?

The company could have terms and conditions restricting disclosure of such information. Even if the dash cam belongs to an individual, its information involves the company.

owner, or the truck company the driver worked for? Can I sue all three?
answered on Oct 29, 2018
Proper defendants usually are the truck driver and the trucking company. Others can be a potential defendant, depending on the facts, like the maintenance company (if the truck is improperly maintained) or the leasing company in some circumstances. I am sorry for your loss.

Are there any exceptions to negligence laws for emergencies like that?
answered on Oct 8, 2018
Congratulations! I answered a similar question. Generally, no exception. If the ambulance service or hospital said for you to bring her then you have a defense. If she was oK but then had contractions in the car and was having them when you were stopped, you can claim it was a sudden emergency.

Turn it over to your insurance. Be guided by them. If there was a camera at the intersection go to see if it covers that part. If there was a camera at a business across from where it happened that was pointing toward the street see if it caught it. Otherwise, you get cited plead not guilty. If you... View More
