There is no reason not to sign the tickets, because by signing you are only acknowledging that you received the ticket. You are not admitting guilt. Some officers have been known to arrest someone for Obstruction of Justice when a person doesn't sign.

It is often good to be proactive in these situations. Getting an assessment and treatment could be helpful in showing the Court that you are taking initiative. If you are currently receiving treatment, that is going to help you in the long run.

Can the DA office ingore what I sent him or does he by law have to bring it in front of a judge? I sent them her failed drug test and bond conditions and that my kids were removed from her custody.
